PAYMENTS AND MY PROCESS
Payments are 100% upfront unless it is a large project (over $350), then it is half upfront and half when I am halfway finished
The artstyle will be consistent with my usual work, I can however replicate art styles as well
I start with a physical sketch where you can make any changes you like
As I send progress images, you have three chances for major revisions. These include pose changes, background adjustments, and the like. Please be specific with what you would like from the start/ sketch phase!
Additions such as animations added after the first progress shot will cost an extra fee. If you are unsure whether you would like a piece animated let me know from the beginning so I can work with that in mind (no extra charge).
The final delivery will include a high resolution png + original size. You may request any other format or size at any point even after the commission is finished.
DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
Commissions may take a few days to a few weeks or more, depending on the complexity
Please let me know of any deadlines. A rush/ priority fee may be added. I will notify you of any delays in the process.
USAGE AND POSTING
You are not allowed to use the commission for any other purpose besides personal reasons unless the commerical fee is paid.
Using the work you commission in AI generations is not allowed
I will be posting commissioned work (watermarked) on my socials. You may request to have a commission stay private for a 25% fee on top of the final price.
A full refund is allowed up until both sides approve of a sketch. Cancelling a commission at any other point will result in a 25% refund unless I am over halfway done (I will notify you of my halfway point).

Nice to meet you!
My name is Mich and I am a Pacific Northwest-based artist who creates detailed rich landscapes through pixel art, a type of digital media. I draw inspiration from nature's patterns to create an environment that the observer can explore. I set the scene for my subject through a colorful sky, which ranges from mountains and rivers to historic structures. I use pixel art to give my artwork a retro feel, inspired by the 2000s decade when I was growing up. In a technologically advanced society, my work presents the natural world through a digital lens, encouraging others to seek out similar destinations. My art is driven by the uniqueness of every setting as I engage with each location, with a majority of concepts forming during the moment.
My process

1. Find inspiration outdoors
3. Draw a sketch
4. Upload to Google Drive and import into Aseprite
5. Adjust imported image
6. Use color palette generator to help narrow down a general palette
8. Start with a subject and simple background
10. Check proportions
11. Detail piece by piece
12. Finish background
13. Lighting and color adjustment
15. Continue detailing until finished!
When visiting new places, I take photos from the more basic landscapes to visible patterns and interesting compositions. Although I have lived most of my life in the PNW, I have spent some time in central Europe. The differences in culture and historic buildings adds uniqueness to my work.
